RATES
Our team of experienced attorneys handle both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.
If you need a Chapter 13 bankruptcy, typically, most clients qualify for our $0 upfront filing fee. Click here to learn more about our $0 upfront fee.
On the other hand, if you need a Chapter 7, our rate is $1,000 for low-income residents, and for most other Chapter 7 bankruptcies, it's only $1,250.
Do not worry about the fee. If you choose to retain us, we have easy payment plans, and, in some cases, we can get your creditors to reimburse you for the cost of your bankruptcy or even pay for it outright if you are being harassed or your rights are otherwise being trampled.
CHAPTER 7
Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a legal process that allows you to eliminate most of your unsecured debts like credit cards, personal loans, and medical bills. The main aim of filing for Chapter 7 is to give you a fresh financial start.
When you file for bankruptcy protection, you are entitled to certain exemptions under state laws to protect your personal and real property from creditors. In most cases, you won't lose any of your property in Chapter 7. Your attorney will guide you on how to best use your available exemptions to safeguard your property.
CHAPTER 13
A Chapter 13 bankruptcy is a legal process that allows you to reorganize your debts into a repayment plan. It can be helpful if you are facing a foreclosure sale or repossession of your vehicle or mobile home. By filing for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, you can spread out your missed payments over a period of 60 months and catch up on them gradually. If you have a regular monthly income, Chapter 13 can help you repay your unsecured debts based on your available income. The good news is that in most cases, you can keep your home, vehicles, and other property during this process.
