About Ben
Benjamin M. Sheridan is the Managing Attorney of Klein & Sheridan. His practice focuses on consumer protection, bankruptcy, and residential construction litigation. Ben has built his career around taking on banks, creditors, credit bureaus, debt collectors, and insurance companies when they stand in the way of fair treatment for ordinary people.
Ben began his legal career at Legal Aid of West Virginia, where he represented low-income West Virginians in consumer, family, immigration, bankruptcy, and property matters. That experience shaped the way he still practices today: direct, practical, and relentlessly focused on solving real problems for people who are up against institutions with more money and more leverage.
His work ranges from individual Chapter 7 bankruptcies to large consumer and construction cases. Ben has represented clients in both state and federal court, including matters involving major national financial institutions, the three credit bureaus, and complex class and mass actions. Regardless of the size of the case, he approaches it with the same level of preparation and attention.
Ben graduated from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2008 and earned an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School in 2009. He was born in Lewisburg, West Virginia. In addition to leading Klein & Sheridan, he has served as a board member of the West Virginia Association for Justice, as a founding board member of the Marshall University Consumer Justice Project, and as an organizer of the West Virginia Common Grounds Conference on Consumer Law Issues.
